They say 4-5 years of education is not enough if you are a computer science major.
Plus, finishing school is not enough for you to be able to say that you are sure to have a job that will support you in the future.
A teacher once said...
"In CS, tuloy tuloy ang pag-aaral kung hindi mapagiiwanan ka"(hindi talaga ganyan pagkakasabi)
Pero kung ayaw mo mag-aral ng mag-aral...
"You are in the wrong field..."
There are many programmers now, even high school students know how to program. If you want to keep up with the competition, you should continue learning because what you know today, may not be very useful in the future. Plus, your earnings will depend on what you know and what you can do.
No experience or little experience may mean minimum pay or no job at all. So it's a good idea to go get some experience first.
For me being a CS Major, is like being a doctor. After graduation, you still need to train for years in order for you to be able to handle hard situations that offers good pay.
Right now, I'm still confused on what will I do when I graduate but one thing is for sure, learning should not stop.
